I am totally addicted...

I don’t even know where to really start with this story. The prologue grabbed my attention and like I said before I became addicted to the story about Emma and Cade! I could seriously go on and on but don’t want to give away too much. My Cowboy is sweet, sexy, full of angst and will leave you wanting for nothing.

I seriously loved Emma to death. Her sassy and take no crap attitude was just perfect in every way, shape and form. A total firecracker 100%!

My Cowboy is a charming story about overcoming heartache and having the courage to do so. As a small town girl myself, this book struck a chord with its vibrant characters and vibrant places. I can't wait to read the 2nd book in the series!
Great read for her first book! I liked the story line & was able to read it quickly. This is important as I have 2 young children & don't have much free time for reading. My only complaint (and this seems to be for any of these types of books) is that it wrapped up rather quickly. The last few chapters seemed to be rushed to get to a decent ending. Considering I immerse myself into what I read, this is a big deal for me personally, but for others it may be a non issue. Otherwise, I liked the overall story and writing. Looking forward to the next one in the series!
This book had romance, chemistry and history all wound in together to make a beautiful story. This book centres on Emma and Cade, Emma has long known Cade as he is her brothers best friend but after many years away Cade returns home and discovers that Emma is not the little sister she once was. She is now older, appealing and single!
I loved this book and will definitely be reading more of this authors work, she kept me turning pages to follow their journey.
My Cowboy by Brooke May.......This was a beautiful written love story between Emma and Cade. Emma is the little sister of Cade's best friend. Cade leaves for several years to become a rodeo star in bull riding and when he returns and finds Emma grown up beautiful and single. Well you will have to read to find out what happens between these two. These two go through a lot and both are so strong. I am excited to read more by Brooke May. I voluntarily review an advance readers copy of this book.
My Cowboy is a sweet romance that will keep you glued to the pages.

The story starts 10 years in the past, where we are introduced to several of the characters throughout the book. Emma, a girl with a big heart and 'doesn't take s*** from no one' attitude, has been crushing on her older brother's best friend, Cade. Of course, Cade is oblivious to her affections, treating her as nothing more than a kid sister.

When a tragic accident occurs, Cade disappears, only to return 10 years later.

Emma's got a lot on her plate. Her brother suffers from PTSD from time spent at war, and her families' ranch has been struggling to stay afloat. Determined to keep everything from falling completely apart she dedicates all of her energy into restoring the ranch to its former days.

When Cade shows up out of nowhere, Emma is forced to confront more than just the grown man who stole her heart so many years ago. Feelings resurface. Sparks fly. And she must decide if losing her heart to Cade is worth the risk.

My Cowboy was eloquent and enthralling. Brooke May will take you to heights unimaginable. You will experience young live and second chances. In this story you will become one with the character's rejoicing in their happiness and enduring the pain. Circumstances can cause a rift in the strongest relationships but being able to forgive and fight for what you want wholeheartedly will be the ultimate sacrifice. Ms May visualizations will come alive in your mind and replay like a perfectly choreographed movie. You will have imprints on your heart forever. Simply Incredible. Five stars guaranteed.
Emma has loved the boy she grew up with since she was little. But when he ran and never returned, it broke her heart. Now he’s back and better than ever, however what he did doesn’t change the fact he broke her heart.

Cade and Emma have great chemistry and are fun, hot, and sweet. The story is different then many other cowboy reads. She’s strong and independent, he’s sweet and sexy. The scandals that revolve around these characters and their supporting characters keep the story interesting without it being all about them. There’s other pieces to the story that bring everyone and everything together. The sex is hot, and there is only minimal drama but it’s enough. I’d definitely recommend this read.
